Welcome to Timber River Ranch
upon arriving at the ranch, guests will be captivated by the half-mile long, tree-lined driveway. As you turn the last corner, the view opens up to the gorgeous hay field and is an excellent photo opportunity for all. Our driveway continues up to the red and brown barns with our 3 story farmhouse sitting off to the right. One thing you will notice about our venue.... there is hardly a house in site! It is truly one of the most private venues in the spokane/Coeur d' Alene/Sandpoint area. Most guests and brides have stated "Pictures do not do the venue justice - you really have to see it in person."
Timber River Ranch is unique and completely authentic. Once home to horses, cows, goats and hunting dogs, our ranch is now home to white tail deer, bald eagles, canadian geese and many other wildlife. It proudly fulfills its purpose as a real hay producing farm, and our hay is harvested each july. Signs of previous farming years can be seen by old, authentic tractors and hay equipment scattered throughout the property. Our ranch has come a long way since those times and has made many fond memories for numerous families.
the Red Timber Frame Barn
The original red barn has been revitalized to begin accommodating guests and hosting events. While keeping all of the authentic rough-sawn beams and wood, concrete floors were added inside and out, along with bistro lighting and impressive, updated landscaping. Resting amid the trees, the barn serves as the perfect setting for indoor and outdoor festivities alike. Our red timber frame barn has been transformed into a space coveted by Brides all over the country, and has hosted several weddings, wedding receptions and barn dances.
At Timber River Ranch, wedding dreams do come true. Being nestled within 54 acres of pristine forest and farmland along the Pend Oreille River, and offering some of the most incredible views, our venue provides an ideal setting for your wedding ceremony, reception, rehearsal, luncheons, dinners, milestone birthdays or just a week long vacation. We have several ceremony locations to choose from, with our most popular one being along the rivers edge. We can also accommodate a wedding inside our red timber frame barn, and if you have a large wedding guest list, then most brides choose our new, large 3,400 square foot covered pavilion - which is especially popular in the early spring time.
Say “I do” beside the stunningly beautiful Pend Oreille River as it reflects an endless skyline of mountaintops. With its superior design, Timber River Ranch is one of the most private and serene waterfront venues in eastern Washington. Here, you can experience tranquility unique to a day at the river. Being this close to paradise, it's hard to imagine you are just five miles from downtown Newport, WA, just an hour north of Spokane and Couer D' Alene, and only 25 miles from Sandpoint, Idaho.
